↗️Acclimation sets get you ready to move the heavy weights you’ll use in your working sets. They’re a little bit different than a warm up. 🎈Warming up is what you do to get generally prepared for your training session. You’ll move around to increase your heart rate and your body temperature. 🚿Acclimation sets happen after that, when you’re ready to start your workout. Take deadlift, for instance (even though we all know Monday is unofficially International Bench Day, right?). Say the weight you use for your working sets is 315 lbs. 🌡Jumping right to 315 is asking for injury. You want to give your muscles and nervous system a chance to get really ready. You can start with a few air squats. Not a lot, because the idea is to get ready, not to get tired. 🔮Then a few reps with a really light weight. Then depending on how fast you can acclimate and the volume of your working sets, you go from there. You add some weight and do 1-3 reps. Then maybe 1-2 more acclimation sets and you’re primed for your working sets. ⚗️Again, the idea is to get your body specifically ready to use your working weights for a specific lift. It’s a little bit of a balancing act. You want to acclimate but you don’t want to fatigue before your working sets. This means you’ll be making big jumps in terms of weight. The greater the weight of your working sets, the more likely you’ll need more acclimation sets. 🛁Hope this helps! Any questions or comments, leave ‘em below!

So i havent worked out in a week. I started out so good but this is my pattern , I workout for a few days then for 1 day I stop and I lose all my motivation. I start to feel "fat" and I start to doubt myself and then I become Demotivated but this morning I woke up and I dragged my ass to gym. I said to myself " if you really want it , then work for it." It wasn't a successful session but I jogged on the treadmill and I stretched it out. I was craving something decadent and made these superfood protein chocolate peanut butter no bake fudge bites Omg!!!! So good! Ingredients Makes 6 6 tsp coconut oil 1/2 scoop chocolate superfood protein powder 3 Tbsp peanut butter powder 2 Tbsp unsweetened vanilla almond milk Mix together Scoop out 6 balls and flatten with palm of your hand Wrap in parchment paper and freeze for 1 hour before eating. They'll last a long time in the freezer. From our Trainer, Regan: “Feeling a little emotional today about this transformation photo. These pictures are EXACTLY 2 years apart. To the day. I remember how I felt in the before picture. I was actually happy!! I had lost about 10-15 lbs already! Which was a huge accomplishment for me, especially over the holidays. This was about the time that I got serious about my weight loss journey. But I think the most important part of my transformation is the time it took. Y’all, it’s been 2 whole years!! (And not done yet!) It doesn’t happen over night. That’s why it’s so important to work on habits. Because you’re not always going to be motivated. It’s going to be SO hard some days, but quitting is never going to get you there. I think about if I would have quit. Man, what I would be missing out on. Don’t miss out on another minute of your life. Nobody says you have to be perfect, you just have to keep going. That’s literally it. Just. Keep. Going. 💕”
